Australia cruise to 3-2 series win

Australia 140 for 2 (Finch 70*) beat England 138 (Stokes 42, Marsh 4-27, Hastings 3-21) by 8 wickets.

It wasn't a dead rubber, but not particularly competitive-ready series. Led a strong performance from their fast bowlers who rolled 138 England, Australia cruised eight wicket victory in the final ODI "old Trafford" and ended their three-month tour of England, which showed the disappointment of another failed ashes campaign with a 3-2 victory in the one-day series.

Mitchell Marsh and John Hastings can hardly be the most intimidating pair of fast bowlers, but they have caused the England collapse, among them collecting seven of the nine wickets that fell. Aaron Finch and George Bailey then led Australia last your goals with ease. In the end, the fans could barely half the amount of overs they expected - 57.2 in total, consists of 33 in England's innings and 24.2 in pursuit.

It was not only the result but also for England, though. James Taylor was captain of the England team on the field after Owen Morgan was struck in the helmet short delivery from Mitchell starc bands to build and was forced to retire hurt in the England innings. Morgan was escorted off the field by England and the medical staff took no further part in the game.
